Tecno AI Glasses and Tecno AI Glasses Pro were unveiled by the company ahead of the upcoming Mobile World Congress (MWC 2025). The firm is scheduled to launch new products at the annual trade show event, including new smartphones. The new wearables are claimed to be as light as sunglasses and offer support for AI-powered features, such as object recognition and summarisation of text. The Pro model is also equipped with an augmented reality (AR) display that offers support for real-time navigation.

Tecno AI Glasses, Tecno AI Glasses Pro Features

The new wearables (via GSMArena) feature a frame that is built using light composite materials and an aluminium alloy, according to the company. Tecno says that these AI glasses will be produced in Aviator Style and Eyebrow Frame options and weigh as much as a pair of sunglasses. While they appear to resemble a pair of spectacles, they offer support or several AI features.

While both the Tecno AI Glasses and Tecno AI Glasses Pro offer support for various software features that require the use of a built-in camera, the Pro variant is equipped with an AR display. This feature allows users to see a live view of navigation instructions.

We’ve yet to see how the Tecno AI Glasses and Tecno AI Glasses Pro will work, but the company is expected to give users a sneak peek at how both these devices function at the MWC 2025. They will be equipped with the company’s Tecno Ella, a voice assistant that can be summoned using a voice command or when the user places a finger on the temple of the glasses.

Users can wear the Tecno AI Glasses or Tecno AI Glasses Pro and summon the assistant to perform tasks like summarising or translating notes, or recognising objects. Voice commands can also surface information from a user’s account to provide recommendations.

Tecno has yet to offer any details related to availability of the Tecno AI Glasses and Tecno AI Glasses Pro, or how much they would cost. The company has confirmed that it will launch these devices along the Tecno Camon 40 series, new Megabook laptop models, True 2 truly wireless stereo (TWS) headset, and the Tecno Watch GT 1.

Tecno, owned by China’s Transsion Holdings, is all set to showcase its latest devices at the Mobile World Congress (MWC) Barcelona 2025. The brand confirmed that it will unveil the Camon 40 smartphone series and MegaBook S14 laptop at the trade show. Tecno will also showcase its first AI glasses at the launch event. The Tecno Camon 40 series is teased to arrive with advanced AI imaging technology and MediaTek Dimensity Ultimate processors. The MegaBook S14 will boast a 14-inch OLED display, whereas the Tecno AI glasses family will include two models.

Tecno AI Ecosystem Product Launch Event Date Announced

Tecno, in a press release, announced that it will reveal the Camon 40 series, MegaBook S14, and a pair of AI glasses series at MWC 2025. The new products will debut at the Tecno AI Ecosystem product launch event on March 4.

The brand didn’t confirm how many models will be included in the Camon 40 series but it claims that the new lineup will set a new benchmark with advanced features including AI. It will ship with advanced AI imaging technology and Tecno confirmed that it will revolutionise the ‘snap photography experience with zero-delay performance and a one-tap button’, indicating the presence of a new camera button. The images shared by the brand show that the new camera control button is arranged on the left-side of the phone.

The Tecno Camon 40 series will run on the latest MediaTek Dimensity Ultimate processors and include Tecno AI to deliver multi-skin tone imaging processing and AI Imaging Creation.

The MegaBook S14 by Tecno will have a 14-inch OLED display and is claimed to be the world’s lightest 14-inch OLED laptop. Meanwhile, the company’s first AI glasses including the Tecno AI Glasses Pro and Tecno AI Glasses, are confirmed to come with AI functions with advanced imaging capabilities and a sleek design. They will be part of the company’s intelligent ecosystem.

The Tecno Camon 40 lineup is likely to include Tecno Camon 40, Camon 40 Pro 4G, Camon 40 Pro 5G, and Tecno Camon 40 Premier 5G models.

A new variant of the OnePlus Watch 3 with cellular connectivity and a different size is in development and is anticipated to be launched later this year, according to a report. The Watch 3 was launched last week as the company’s flagship smartwatch and the successor to the OnePlus Watch 2. So far, only a single-size variant of the watch has been introduced and that too without LTE support, but that may soon change.

OnePlus Watch 3 With Cellular Connectivity in Development

In a conversation with Wareable, Dr. Leo Zhang, the Head of R & D at the OnePlus Health Lab revealed that the company is currently developing a small-sized OnePlus Watch 3. The currently available variant’s case measures 46mm and the watch itself weighs approximately 80g.

As per the official, this means that the OnePlus Watch 3 “remains heavy for a small wrist and that this typically affects women”, emphasising that they will “fix that this year”. Further, it is also expected to offer LTE support, a feature that is missing from the flagship watch. Zhang stated that the company offers an LTE variant in China but not in the global markets as it needs to “work with carriers so users can put in an eSIM and have a data plan.”

While details remain scarce, the purported smartwatch may be introduced as the OnePlus Watch 3R, building upon the OnePlus Watch 2R from last year which had a weight advantage courtesy of a different build material. At 59g, the smartwatch also weighs significantly less than its flagship counterpart despite offering almost similar features. The purported smaller-sized OnePlus Watch 3 is also likely to follow in similar footsteps.

OnePlus Watch 3 Specifications

The OnePlus Watch 3 is equipped with a 1.5-inch (460×460 pixels) LTPO AMOLED display with 2,200 nits of peak brightness. The screen is protected by a sapphire crystal glass and it also features titanium alloy bezels for enhanced protection. The watch gets MIL-STD-810H certification along with IP68 rating against dust and water ingress and water resistance up to a depth of 5 ATM.

It is powered by the Snapdragon W5 processor along with a BES2800BP MCU, with 32GB of onboard memory, and Google’s Wear OS 5 and Real-Time Operating System (RTOS). OnePlus claims that the Watch 3 can last up to 5 days in smart mode and up to 16 days in power saver mode on a single charge.

Boat has unveiled the Ultima Prime and Ultima Ember smartwatches in India. They support Bluetooth calling and have inbuilt mic and speaker units. While the Prime version is said to offer a battery life of up to five days, the Ember variant is claimed to deliver up to 15 days of usage. They come with IP68-rated builds for dust and water resistance and are equipped with functional crowns. The wearables also help users track health and fitness statistics like heart rate, blood oxygen level, stress levels and more.

Boat Ultima Prime and the Ultima Ember smartwatches are both priced in India at Rs. 1,899, the company confirmed in a press release. They are available for purchase in the country via the Boat website, Amazon, Flipkart and select retail stores.

The newly launched smartwatches are offered in Royal Berry, Rose Gold, Steel Black and Silver Mist colour options. The Boat Ultima Prime comes in additional Forest Green and Onyx Black shades, while the Boat Ultima Ember is available in a Bold Black colourway as well.

The Boat Ultima Prime sports a 1.43-inch AMOLED screen with a resolution of 466×466 pixels, 700 nits brightness and Always-On Display support. The Wake Gesture feature allows users to check notifications or the time with a flick of the wrist. Meanwhile, the Boat Ultima Ember comes with a 1.96-inch AMOLED display with a 368×448 pixels resolution and 800 nits brightness level.

Both Boat Ultima Prime and Ultima Ember watches support Bluetooth calling and have a dial pad with storage of up to 20 contacts. They carry inbuilt mic and speaker units as well as functional crowns. They support customisable cloud-based watch faces and come pre-installed with more than 100 sports modes. They are equipped with heart rate, blood oxygen level (SpO2), sleep, stress and menstrual cycle trackers.

The Boat Ultima Prime and the Ultima Ember are backed by a 300mAh battery each. The Prime and the Ember variants are claimed to offer a usage time of up to five and 15 days, respectively. With Bluetooth calling, the battery life is said to be reduced to three to five days. They are said to meet the IP68 rating for dust and water resistance.

Realme Buds Air 7 TWS earphones were launched in China on Tuesday alongside the Realme Neo 7 SE and Neo 7x handsets. They come with active noise cancellation (ANC) support of up to 52dB. The earphones offer Hi-Res Audio certification and support high-fidelity lossless LHDC 5.0 audio codec. They are said to offer a total usage time of up to 52 hours with the charging case. Notably, the company introduced the Realme Buds Air 6 TWS earphones in India in May 2024.

Realme Buds Air 7 price in China is set at CNY 299 (roughly Rs. 3,600). Pre-orders for the earphones are now open via the Realme China e-store. They will go on sale in the country starting at 10am local time (7:30am IST) on February 26. The earphones are offered in Dawn Gold, Orchid Purple and Verdant Green (translated from Chinese) shades.

The Realme Buds Air 7 sport 12.4mm titanium-plated dynamic drivers with N52 neodymium magnets and copper SHTW coils. They support 3D spatial audio experience and up to 52dB ANC including AI-backed adaptive ANC. The earphones carry a six-mic system which is said to help with call noise reduction.

Buds Air 7 support Bluetooth 5.4, Swift Pair and dual device connectivity. They have a Hi-Res Audio certification as well as support for LHDC 5.0, SBC and AAC audio codecs. The earphones come with up to 45ms low latency which is said to minimise audio-visual lagging. They support touch controls and are compatible with the Realme Link app. The earphones only, not the case, are said to meet the IP55 rating for dust and splash resistance.

The Realme Buds Air 7 earphones reportedly provide a total battery life of up to 52 hours without ANC, including the charging case. With ANC enabled, the earphones are said to offer up to 30 hours of usage. The earbuds alone are expected to deliver up to 13 hours of playback without ANC and 7.5 hours with the feature enabled. A quick 10-minute charge is claimed to offer up to 10 hours of usage. Each earbud houses a 62mAh battery, while the charging case, equipped with a USB Type-C port, packs a 480mAh battery.

OnePlus Watch 3 was launched globally last week as the company’s latest flagship smartwatch and its initial batches were reported to have a typographical error. The text on the backplate of the OnePlus smartwatch read “Meda in China” instead of “Made in China”, which the brand has now acknowledged as “totally unintentional”. It has initiated optional free returns for customers who do not wish to keep the OnePlus Watch 3 with the typo.

OnePlus Watch 3 Returns

In a post on X (formerly Twitter), OnePlus USA acknowledged the typo mistake on the back of the OnePlus Watch 3. Cited as “unintentional”, the brand says it “slipped through” to the production-spec variants of the smartwatch. As per the company, those who have already pre-ordered or purchased the aforementioned retail units of the OnePlus Watch 3 can return the smartwatch for free.

The brand also said that select units with the typo error can be kept as a “super limited edition” smartwatch, joking that it is “one-of-a-kind”. OnePlus says that it is now refreshing the stocks of the OnePlus Watch 3 with retail units which come with the mistake rectified.

Notably, the smartwatch is priced at $329 (roughly Rs. 29,000) in the US. The company offers a coupon discount of $30 (roughly Rs. 2,600), while buyers can also get an extra $50 (roughly Rs. 4,300) off when trading in their old smartwatch. It is currently up for pre-order and deliveries begin February 25.

OnePlus Watch 3 sports a 1.5-inch (460×460 pixels) LTPO AMOLED screen with a peak brightness of 2,200 nits. The display is covered by a sapphire crystal glass and it also features titanium alloy bezels for enhanced protection. It is MIL-STD-810H certified and gets IP68 rating against dust and water ingress, meaning it is water resistant up to a depth of 5 ATM.

The smartwatch is powered by the Snapdragon W5 processor along with a BES2800BP MCU. It gets 32GB of onboard memory and runs on Google’s Wear OS 5 and Real-Time Operating System (RTOS). The OnePlus Watch 3 is equipped with a wrist temperature sensor, an optical heart rate sensor, and an optical pulse oximeter sensor for health and fitness tracking.

OnePlus claims that the Watch 3 can last up to 5 days in smart mode and up to 16 days in power saver mode on a single charge.

Apple Vision Pro to Get Apple Intelligence Features With visionOS 2.4 Update

The company says that Apple Intelligence features will start rolling out to the Apple Vision Pro when visionOS 2.4 is rolled out in April. Features that will be part of the initial release will include Writing Tools (with ChatGPT integration), Image Playground (with a standalone Vision Pro app), and Genmoji. These features will initially be available to users who have set their device language to English (US).

Users will also be able to create Memory Movies in the Photos app, which will also support natural language search queries., or use features like Smart Reply in the Mail and Messages apps. Other features coming to the Vision Pro include Image Wand in Notes, Priority Messages in Mail and Notification Centre, Mail Summaries, and Notification Summaries.

Guest User Mode for Apple Vision Pro

One of the most anticipated features coming to the Apple Vision Pro is a Guest User mode that will allow owners of the spatial computer to share it with other users. Apple’s description of the Guest User mode suggests that this won’t be a full-fledged multi-user system that allows another user to have their own login and password.

Instead, the Apple Vision Pro will allow a guest user to save their eye and hand setup for up to 30 days after using the device. After updating to visionOS 2.4, Apple Vision Pro owners can use their iPhone or iPad to start a new Guest User session and select apps that can be accessed by other users on the headset.

Apple Vision Pro App Coming to iOS, Vision Pro to Get Spatial Gallery App

After updating to iOS 18.4, Apple Vision Pro owners will see a new application on their smartphone that allows remote management of apps on the headset. Users can also see information about the device, in addition to downloading apps and games, or see recommendations for new content (including 3D movies or Apple Immersive titles), according to the company.

On the headset, Apple’s visionOS 2.4 update will introduce a new Spatial Gallery on the Vision Pro. This app will show spatial photos, spatial videos, panoramas and other content that is designed to take advantage of the displays on the mixed reality headset. These will cover various topics, including “art, culture, entertainment, lifestyle, nature, sports, and travel”.

Apple says that the visionOS 2.4 update will roll out to the Apple Vision Pro in April, and the Apple Intelligence features will initially be available to users who have set their device language and Siri language to English (US). The features are also expected to roll out to other regions where the headset is available, including Australia, Canada, China, Hong Kong, France, Germany, Japan, Korea, Singapore, Taiwan, the UAE, and the UK.

The new Oppo smartwatch has a 1.5-inch LTPO AMOLED display and is claimed to deliver up to 16 days of battery life in power save mode. The Oppo Watch X2 runs on a Snapdragon W5 chipset alongside 32GB storage. It ships with WearOS 5 and has an IP68-rated build. The Oppo Watch X2 supports more than 100 sports modes. It has an optical heart rate sensor and is said to be capable of measuring blood oxygen saturation (SpO2) levels.

The Oppo Watch X2 is available with an initial price tag of SGD 499 (roughly Rs. 30,000) in Singapore. It is listed for pre-orders in the country in Lava Black and Summit Blue colour options.

The wearable is powered by a Snapdragon W5 Gen 1 chipset alongside BES2800BP MCU. It carries 32GB of RAM.

Like the previous models, Oppo’s new Watch X2 has an optical heart rate sensor, blood oxygen (SpO2) tracker, as well as daily activity reminders. It offers a 60S health check-in feature to provide instant wellness assessment of key metrics like heart rate, blood oxygen, and wrist temperature in just 60 seconds. This data can be accessed on OHealth app on the paired phone. Additionally, there are features to monitor sleep quality and snoring.

Oppo Watch X2 features an EKG electrode for monitoring arterial stiffness and ECG readings. The wearable is claimed to identify issues such as sleep apnea and irregular breathing. It includes features like heart rate variability (HRV) to offer insights into stress levels. Further, it is equipped with a wrist temperature sensor. It has MIL-STD-810H durability and an IP68-rated build. 

For fitness enthusiasts, the Watch X2 supports more than 100 sports modes. It has dual-frequency GPS (L1 and L5 bands) for location tracking. The device allows wearers to control paired smartphone cameras remotely. Users can also control video playback through the smartwatch. Further, it allows users to respond to texts and emails, and control music directly from the wrist. It comes with access to Google Maps, and Google Wallet, and has support for Google Fast Pair.

The Oppo Watch X2 houses a 648mAh battery and it is claimed to deliver up to 120 hours of battery life for standard use in smart mode. It is advertised to provide up to 16 days of battery life in power saver mode.
